About me
Born in the Ruhr area of Germany and based in Düsseldorf, I'm a violinist, music educator, composer and arranger. Growing up in a musical family, I started playing the violin at age 5, began studying classical violin at 14, and was soon performing as concertmaster and soloist with youth orchestras around the world. I also won the international YouTube Symphony Orchestra competition at Carnegie Hall and performed as a guest with orchestras such as RSO Frankfurt and the Dortmund Philharmonic.
In 2007 I co-founded Uwaga! – a crossover ensemble blending classical, jazz, Balkan and pop music. Over 19 years we have performed at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Konzerthaus Berlin, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Alte Oper Frankfurt and Tonhalle Düsseldorf, and collaborated with orchestras such as the WDR Funkhausorchester and the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2019 I've been sharing my knowledge on YouTube – with over 700 videos to support you in your violin practice. The matching sheet music – fingered and bowed by me – is available at noten-pdf.de. Every Friday at 5:30 PM CET a new video goes live.
